Custom Label Terms & Research-Use Policy

Version 5 — Last updated: August 14, 2026

These Custom Label Terms govern your purchase of custom-printed labels from VialArt ("we," "us"). By placing an order or checking the certification box at checkout, you agree to these terms.

1. What We Sell

VialArt provides custom-printed adhesive labels intended solely for products used for non-clinical research, laboratory, organizational, or other lawful non-human-use purposes. We print artwork onto adhesive label material. We do not manufacture, compound, sell, supply, endorse, or take any position on any substance you choose to label.

VialArt labels may not be used to label products intended for human or animal ingestion, injection, administration, diagnosis, treatment, or therapeutic use. Labels are not pharmaceutical products and are not approved by any regulatory authority.

2. What We Do Not Do

VialArt does not manufacture, possess, inspect, test, sample, verify, or exercise control over the contents of any vial or container to which its labels may ultimately be applied.

3. Your Responsibility & Compliance

You select, submit, customize, and approve the final content and artwork of your label before production. You are solely responsible for the legality of the substances you label and for how those substances and labels are used, stored, transferred, or sold. You represent and warrant that your content and your underlying product comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including trademark, advertising, and food-and-drug law in every jurisdiction where the product is distributed.

4. Intellectual Property & Uploaded Artwork

If you upload artwork, text, logos, or other content, you represent and warrant that you own that content or are fully licensed to use and reproduce it. You grant VialArt a limited, non-exclusive license to reproduce your content solely to fulfill your order. You retain ownership of your content.

5. Marketing Use of Printed Labels

We sometimes photograph or film labels we have printed to showcase our print quality in marketing materials such as social-media posts, our website, and product listings.

We use only generic or redacted artwork in these materials. We do not publish images of labels bearing specific compound names, and we never disclose your name, contact details, shipping information, order details, or anything else identifying you as the purchaser. If you would prefer your labels never appear in marketing materials, email support@vialart.com and we will exclude your orders.

6. Compound Names

Generic compound or chemical names are not prohibited solely because of the name itself, but all submitted content remains subject to this policy and to screening. Acceptance of an order does not constitute a determination that your underlying product or use is lawful or compliant.

From time to time we may place specific terms on a temporary hold and decline to print them while we review our position. Terms on hold are refused when detected in typed content or uploaded artwork and may not proceed to purchase.

7. Prohibited Content

You may not order labels that include, and we will refuse or cancel any order that includes:

Medical, dosing, and administration content. Injection or route-of-administration statements (inject, injectable, subcutaneous, intramuscular, intravenous, administer); dosage schedules; titration or dose-escalation instructions; reconstitution or mixing instructions given as preparation for use; syringe units or draw volumes; dose conversions; treatment directions; therapeutic claims; and physiological-benefit claims (weight loss, fat loss, appetite suppression, metabolism, insulin sensitivity, blood sugar, muscle growth, recovery, anti-aging, libido, immunity). A standalone product strength such as "10 MG" is permitted.

Human-use dosage-form, preparation, and storage claims. Statements that present the product in a human-use dosage form, or that tie storage or preparation to administration or dosing. Neutral handling instructions — for example "Store Refrigerated", "Keep Refrigerated", "Protect From Light", or "Refrigerate After Reconstitution" — are permitted on their own.

Counterfeit and regulatory presentation. Registered pharmaceutical brand names or pharmaceutical company names and logos you are not authorized to use; National Drug Code (NDC) numbers; "Rx Only"; "Caution: Federal law…"; "FDA Approved", "FDA Cleared", "FDA Registered", "USP Verified"; authenticity, anti-counterfeit, tamper-evident, hologram-seal or certificate-of-authenticity devices; and trade dress imitating regulated drug packaging.

Evasion. Misspellings, spacing, character substitutions, look-alike characters, or any other attempt to disguise prohibited content. We judge meaning, not spelling.

8. Screening

Typed label fields and uploaded artwork are both screened before an order can be placed. Uploaded artwork is additionally reviewed by an automated image scan that reads text and design elements within the image. Artwork that cannot be reliably analysed is refused.

9. No Circumvention or Modification Assistance

You may not attempt to circumvent VialArt's content screening or compliance controls. If an order is rejected under this policy, VialArt does not provide advice or instructions regarding how to modify prohibited content to obtain approval. Repeated attempts to submit prohibited content may result in cancellation of orders or restriction of your account.

10. Screening Is Not Regulatory Approval

VialArt's automated screening, and any additional review we elect to perform, are limited to enforcing our internal content policies. Acceptance, production, or shipment of an order does not constitute legal, regulatory, medical, intellectual-property, or compliance approval of your content or your underlying product.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless VialArt and its officers, employees, and agents from any claim, loss, liability, penalty, or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your content, your underlying product, your use of our labels, or your breach of these terms.

12. Custom Items Are Final

Custom-printed labels are made to order and cannot be changed, canceled, or returned once confirmed. If we misprint your order or there is a defect on our end, we remake it free of charge.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, VialArt's total liability for any claim relating to an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order.

14. Changes

We may update these terms at any time. The version in effect at the time of your order governs that order. Questions: support@vialart.com.
