Set your canvas to exactly 45 × 19 mm and let your artwork run to all four edges. The label is die-cut with rounded corners (1.6 mm radius) — your square file corners are trimmed on the cut, so keep anything important out of the very corners. A file close to 2.36 : 1 (within 10%) still works — the print fills the label and the small overhang is trimmed, so keep text away from the edges. Shapes further off are rejected at upload.
Full artwork requirements
- Upload requirements: PNG, JPG, or JPEG only · maximum 20 MB · exactly 1.77 × 0.75 in (2.36:1) · minimum 354 × 150 px at 200 DPI (1062 × 450 px at 600 DPI recommended for the sharpest print) · 2.36 : 1 landscape fills the label edge to edge — files within 10% of that shape are accepted (the print fills the label, the small overhang is trimmed); anything further off is rejected at upload.
Every file must display successfully as the final digital proof. Corners are die-cut rounded (1.6 mm radius) — keep critical content out of the very corners. PNG is best for sharp text, logos and transparency — it’s the right export from Canva or Illustrator.
We can’t accept WEBP, PDF, SVG, TIFF, HEIC, PSD, AI, EPS, CDR, GIF, BMP or AVIF — every file must display as an exact digital proof before purchase, and those formats can’t. - Size & shape: export at exactly 1.77 × 0.75 in (45 × 19 mm) — a 2.36 : 1 landscape rectangle. This is required, not a suggestion: an off-ratio file is blocked at upload.
The page is the label. Set your canvas to that size and let the artwork run right to the edges. Don’t centre a small design on a square or A4/Letter page — that white space is part of your file, so it prints as blank foil. - Text sizes — labels print tiny, so use these minimums:
- Title / compound: 3.5 mm+ · Canva font 11–13
- Secondary line: 2 mm+ · Canva font 6–7
- Fine print: 1.2 mm+ · Canva font 4
- Holographic film, not white paper: white & light areas shimmer instead of printing — use bold, dark, high-contrast text (avoid metallic gold/silver and pale backgrounds).
